The dead walk among us in this post apocalyptic drama. It’s not necessarily the smartest that survive. Being worthy is secondary to cunning. Leadership is taken by force, power by the ruthless.
Enemies are everywhere, both alive and dead. Vigilance, fast thinking, and observation, are vital skills. The ability to run comes in handy.
Just look at the flowers
Humanity, decency and trust, especially towards “outsiders”, is a risk that invites danger. Friends turn. Family turns. Everyone dies. And it’s up to you to ensure they don’t re-animate.
As a result good people are forced to make difficult decisions. They question their own morality. In contrast, some don’t even hesitate, they seem to relish the same deeds.
Survivors must be able to adapt to the changing alliances. As well as learn how to grieve their losses, without loosing their awareness of the awful danger that surrounds them. They must learn to forgive both themselves and others. If they cannot let go of the past, they jeopardize their future.
Nothing is fair. Fairness is is a concept that belongs to another world. To days gone by.
