I have tried hard to stay neutral. Mainly because my words usually fall on deaf ears. Sadly, I do not possess the persuasion skills necessary to woo the populace for whom I worry for. As I watch the direction that all this goes, in slow downward spiral that our society seems to be on, not unlike flushing a toilet…
We all see the problems.
Us, the everyday man, the working man, the poorer version of “middle class”.
They used to call us peasants. But hey, us peasants come from hearty stock. And we ain’t afraid to revolt every couple of centuries either… I guess that’s why they had to also militarize the police the closer we got to peasantry maybe.
Maybe the reason we fail to stop this current trajectory, is that most can’t see past the spinning vortex that we are caught up in. We are too busy trying to cling to the remnants of our illusions about the situation, about “our side”, how we think the system should work and versus how it really works.
Its overwhelming and hard enough to understand what the problems are, when we are in the middle of being being flushed down the tubes.
Let alone discerning what the answers should be, without having to sift through the lies and deceptions, and political parlor tricks that rain down on us. The war mongering on each other that is espoused in a great many households as “news” but in reality, is designed to make us despise each others. Divide us so that we are easier to control. I understand the flow of misinformation and the turmoil have triggered things, that both sides have lost sight of the truth and are lost the sensational fog that is blasted through our everyday life.
BUT FAKE ELECTORS?? What.The.Fuck.
But yet, they are still neck and neck.
That worries me
How many times are we going to get fooled again. Pffft.
